There are three different versions of our Scavenger Hunt – a short, medium, or long walk through the Village. The clues have been written to guide you through the Village finding solutions. This can be a group effort for your family and friends as you read the clues and search the Village. When you’ve solved the puzzle, turn in your form at the Visitors Center as you leave and claim your prize! This hunt is designed to help you learn and discover more about history!
A GEO cache has been planted somewhere in our village. Use your GPS to locate it! The Cache is in a green plastic ammo can. Original contents include mini toolkit, bug spray, bungee cords, hand warmers, fishing lure, carabiner and compass, silly putty, and bubbles for the kids.
Olde Time Photos. An assortment of pioneer costumes has been collected and prepared for you to wear as you walk through the Village taking photos portraying yourselves as early settlers of Crosslake. Don the costume and use your own phone or camera and take as many photos as you want. Just turn in your outfit before you leave!! We charge $15.00 per family for the use of the clothes.
The Back Porch Series programs are presented by speakers who share their knowledge and experience. These educational and entertaining programs are scheduled on every other Wednesday during the summer months. Please check the calendar or event schedule to choose which ones you’d like to attend.
