Hours of Operation
The Historic Log Village is open only on weekends throughout the summer season that runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The buildings are opened so that visitors can enter and appreciate the many artifacts that furnish each distinctive structure.
Every Saturday during regular hours we offer entertaining and fascinating displays, demonstrations and/or interactive fun for all ages in the open courtyard. Specific details are listed by date in the “Events” section of our website.
We invite you to participate in one of three different scavenger hunts that will take you through the Log Village seeking more information and answers to complete the hunt. A great opportunity to enjoy the unique buildings while you go!
Also, each weekend, take advantage of the photo opportunity at our Self-Serve Olde Time Photo Booth. Go back in time as you and your family choose a costume, don your pioneer attire, grab the tripod, your phone and set out to take photos throughout the village with the antique buildings inside and out as backdrops. Make your own pioneer photos – FREE for the whole family!
In addition to our regular weekend hours, we also offer a Thursday Night Back Porch Series of programs that educate and entertain the whole family. Several “special events” are also scheduled. Please check the “Events” section of our website for a complete listing of all our programs.
